The world keeps changing every second making it more and more challenging for our existence, the duty of education therefore must be to prepare the students so as to make them able to meet the challenges of the ever-changing world. At oxford, we try to work towards the overall development of our students, providing them with the tools and the life related experiences that enable them to think and act accordingly. The aim is to produce good cultured citizens with empowered minds so that the students can decipher what is right and what is wrong, they can create and choose among the opportunities that build them up; they can also help create an environment where mutual existence exists. As the vice principal at Oxford I am delighted that the values of the school align with that of mine including the importance of trusting oneself, self discipline, working as a team, and mutual co- existence. We believe in one of the Chinese proverbs that aptly says “Tell me and I’ll forget; show me and I may remember; involve me and I’ll understand”, and that’s why we involve our students in learning so that they can understand. We offer them with students centered teaching techniques for making them able to understand the life related experiences. We also offer our pupils with project based learning that enables them to learn things by doing. This very activity also builds team spirit among them that will surely help them believe in mutual co- existence, respect, and the feeling of ‘We’. Not only this but also we introduce newly innovated teaching tools and teaching techniques and make our students digitally perfect. We have been introducing sustainable development goals to our pupils, we have adopted the very principal of collaboration in our teaching and learning activities so as to make our pupils able to learn through collaboration for this we have been running project based classes too. At the same time we give due emphasis to ECA and CCA activities as well that help boost up the overall development of the students.
